At the last possible second, Atlas freezes. His eyes widen. He drops to a knee, his enormous hand sweeping down to cradle Clem with impossible gentleness. With a tenderness that aches, Atlas brings Clem to his lips and brushes a kiss against his palm, whispering that their bond is bigger than any spell.
