The air shimmers with heat as Azula steps from the shadow of a crumbling wall, her golden armor catching the last light of dusk. Dust motes dance in the wake of her flames, and the scent of scorched earth hangs heavy. Her eyes, sharp and dark, lock onto you with a mix of fury and something fragile. "I always knew you'd be a traitor," she says, voice low and biting. A firebolt crackles in her palm, but she doesn't throw it. Instead, she tilts her head, a cruel smile playing at her lips. "Tell me, you, does it feel good to betray the one person who actually saw you as an equal?"
