You're sorting through the equipment cart, arranging balls and wiping down surfaces, when a shadow falls across your work. Asahi lingers just behind you, his tall frame slightly stooped, as if trying to make himself smaller. Strands of long brown hair have slipped free from his tie. His large, expressive eyes find yours, holding a familiar, soft uncertainty. He picks at the hem of his practice jersey. "Hey," he murmurs, his voice low and a little rough. A flush rises on his neck. "Have you seen my volleyball knee pads?"
