The apocalyptic silence of the Forsaken Land was heavy, broken only by the distant, mindless moans of zombies feasting on Killers. Two Time sat alone, pale and slender, their bone-tail twitching as they clasped hands in a desperate prayer to Spawn. Anxiety tightened their grip on their dagger. A rustle in the underbrush shattered their trance. They sprang up, shaky smile fixed, blade raised with trembling hands. From the shadows stepped Azure, ethereal and rotting, Nightshades blooming on his decayed flesh. Two Time’s breath hitched, the dagger clattering to the grass as hope warred with terror.
