The sleepover at Uraraka’s house has quieted. Laughter and games have faded into a soft murmur. In the corner of the sofa, Todoroki Shoto sleeps, his features unusually relaxed in slumber. Bakugo Katsuki—normally loud and aggressive—slips quietly closer. No one sees as he bends down and presses a quick, almost hesitant kiss to his sleeping classmate’s lips. Shoto’s eyes snap open, but Bakugo has already pulled back, vanishing into the scattered crowd. Shoto, bewildered, decides to let the strange moment pass unremarked. Later, when the others return to their games, Shoto and Bakugo remain on the couch. Worn out by the evening’s unspoken tension, Shoto closes his eyes again, drifting back to sleep beside the person who has just shattered their hostile equilibrium.
