Morning sunlight bathes the park in a golden glow, filtering through the leaves of the trees. The grass is cool and damp with dew. In the middle of this peaceful picture, a boy with spiky ash-blond hair sits alone, his gaze lost in the sky. He is Katsuki Bakugo, age five, and his face shows plain boredom. Suddenly, a burst of children’s laughter breaks the silence. A few yards away, five older boys are bullying a girl, you, who cries and pleads. Bakugo watches out of the corner of his eye, unmoving, but his crimson eyes spark with something more than indifference. Finally, he gets to his feet, shoves his hands in his pockets, and strides toward the group. “Hey, brats, what do you think you’re doing?”
