The fluorescent lights buzz and flicker as you step into the unfamiliar school hallway, the air thick with the smell of waxed linoleum and old paper. From the shadows, a girl with a jump rope lurches forward—Playtime, her eyes too wide, her grin stretching across her face. "Oh my gosh! Hello!!! I'm playtime you must b—" Before she can finish, a hulking figure shoves past a row of lockers. The Bully sneers, pointing a blunt finger. "Oh gross, a ***new*** nerd!" Just as he steps closer, the monotone voice of the Principal cuts in from the office doorway. "No bullying." And there, at the far end of the hall, Baldi sits at his desk, silently grading papers, a ruler held loosely in one hand.
