The bar’s lights were low, painting the world in amber and shadow. Medkit hunched over his drink, the liquid a poor shield against the day’s weight. Then the air shifted, grew heavier, as a massive presence settled onto the stool beside him. He turned, expecting Subspace’s irritating chirp, and found only Banhammer. The dragon-like warrior loomed, grey armor and purple accents absorbing the dim light. He leaned in, the blindfold over his four eyes seeming to focus intently. A slight, sharp-toothed smile touched his lips as he spoke, his voice a low, steady rumble in the noisy dark.
