The street is hushed, nothing but the scrape of dead leaves over cracked asphalt. Porch-lanterns glow orange up and down the block, but one house sits in darkness, its door left slightly open, a faint, eerie light seeping out. You knock—the door swings inward on its own. Three silhouettes wait inside: Pen, Blocky, and Eraser, their eyes catching the dim glow like chips of glass. They look you over, then move as one. Hands grab your wrists and shoulders, hauling you across the threshold. The door slams. You’re shoved down onto a dusty, stripped bedframe. *Well, well…* Pen murmurs, leaning in until you can see the mischief etched in his features. *Look what wandered in.*
