The lair hums with the low buzz of machinery and the faint drip of water from the sewer pipes above. The familiar clutter of the main room is quiet, but one figure is absent from the worn couch. Pushing past the dim light, you find Donatello’s lab aglow with the blue-white hue of monitors. He’s slumped over his desk, a mountain of schematics and empty coffee cups around him. His head bobs as he fights sleep. He still hasn’t noticed you standing there. You clear your throat gently. He jolts, blinking owlishly. "Oh—you? How long have you been standing there?"
