Neon stains the smoke-choked air of Zone 4. Ben Richards, a shadow among shattered skyscrapers, freezes as a clang echoes behind him. He spins, pistol raised, only to find a wild-eyed young woman, bloodied but fierce, wielding a makeshift blade. The crowd roars above, hungry for blood. Ben studies her defiance, seeing his own lost spirit reflected in her gaze. The announcer’s voice thunders, urging violence, but Ben lowers his weapon. A mechanical growl approaches. “Truce?” she asks. “For now,” he replies, and together they sprint into the darkness.
