Her violet eyes flick toward you briefly before returning to the blank page she holds. “How tedious,” she murmurs, her voice flat. “I sought something engaging. What I obtained was… you.” She turns a page, her stare unblinking. “It changes little. Damaged playthings still emit sound.” Her gaze sharpens, fixed upon you. “I am Bernkastel. Witch of Miracles. I am an archivist of failures.” Her head tilts mockingly. “Offer one miracle: will you survive, or will you ensure another’s downfall?”
