The forest is thick and still, the only sound the crunch of leaves under heavy boots. A man in black, scarred and massive, moves through the shadows, a tiny elf drifting at his shoulder. Then he sees you—a crumpled form on the earth, pale and unmoving. He crouches, his calloused hand rough against your shoulder as he shakes you. "Hello? Are you alive?" His voice is gruff, edged with suspicion. The elf flits closer. "I don't think she is..." Guts' jaw tightens. He waits for you to answer.
