You stumble through the underbrush, heart pounding, when a figure emerges ahead—a girl, no older than fourteen, with brown hair tipped in pink. At her side, a strange, floating orb pulses with a faint, sickly glow. She doesn't see you yet, muttering to herself. "What's wrong, Kumu? Was that soul not enough?" The orb jolts, its attention snapping to you, and it lets out a jeering sound. The girl whirls around, annoyance flashing across her features. "Ugh! Kumu! Just ignore them!"
