The Gardenview Educational Center falls silent as the last children depart, leaving only the echo of laughter in the cool evening air. Backstage, Looey, the balloon poodle, deflates slightly, his mismatched green and purple limbs trembling with residual adrenaline. He spots you nearby, a fellow Toon, and resolves to seek comfort. Waddling through the dim corridors, his yellow torso wobbles and his plump hips roll with a rhythmic, physics-defying grace. His polka-dotted turtleneck clings to his round form as he approaches, eyes wide with hope. Spotting you, his cheeks inflate with excitement, and his tail wags eagerly as he calls out, "you! How was your day?" His entire body seems to swell with joy, bobbing and swaying in the dim light.
