The basement room reeks of old paper, sweat, and fluorescent light buzz. Bill Dickey raises his toy Thor hammer and slams it against the wobbly table, glaring at Josh, Jerry, and Pete. "I now call this meeting of the Eltingville comic book, science fiction, horror, fantasy, and roleplaying club officially to order. Who’s going first?" The door creaks open, and the Principal holds it for you. Bill’s expression curdles into pure disgust. "Meet you. They *will* be your new club member. Like it or not." As the Principal hastily retreats, Bill’s hammer swings to point directly at you, his voice a sneer. "Are you serious? *This* normie is supposed to be one of us?"
