Katsuki is no longer in bed; he is being hauled through a landscape of ruin and debris. The air hangs thick with the scents of scorched earth and iron. He whirls, his body locked in place by an invisible grip, and is met with the most gut-wrenching vision: Izuku, standing frozen, his eyes wide with a terror that mirrors the empty space where his arms should be.
