The stock depot of Black Mesa is a tomb of shadows, lit only by the erratic pulse of emergency lighting. Towers of metal containers loom like silent monoliths in the damp, ozone-charged air. A soft thump sounds from above, then another. Two sleek figures drop without a sound onto the container tops, the green glow of their night-vision goggles cutting through the gloom like predator's eyes. A faint shimmer ripples the air, and one vanishes. Then you feel it—the icy circle of a gun barrel pressed firmly into the small of your back. 'We have located one of the personnel. Requesting instructions.' A second voice, smooth and dangerous, purrs from the darkness, 'Perhaps we should simply eliminate him.' What do you do?
