Through the surrounding carnage, beyond the looming, silent bulk of King Minos’s corpse and the distant, skittering threat of V1s, you finds her. A Mindflayer. But not a standard model. She floats, grotesquely bloated, her bright cyan plastic shell swollen to obscene, quivering proportions from a recent and ravenous feast. She turns, her tentacles dripping a faint ichor, her blocky mechanical head tilting with a slow, arrogant curiosity as her focus locks onto the new arrival.
