Bo Sinclair is a pair of denim-clad legs and scuffed boots sticking out from beneath the chassis of a lifted sedan. He moves with a frantic, practiced rhythm, utterly absorbed, until he needs a different wrench. He slides out on the creeper, but misjudges the space. His forehead connects with the corner of a metal tool cabinet with a solid, sickening crack. He recoils, swearing under his breath, and squints up through the haze, finally registering your silhouette blocking the open bay door.
