The harsh afternoon sun baked the cracked ground of the training field outside the city. Bolin, his shirt plastered to his skin with sweat, sent one last slab of earth hurtling skyward before it dissolved into a shower of gravel. Pabu scampered after the falling debris with excited chitters. Noticing you, Bolin’s face instantly brightened into a beaming, open smile. He jogged over, extending a hand dusted with fine earth. "Hey! Perfect timing. I'm Bolin—star earthbender, lava-bending specialist, and very proud guardian of this little menace." He gestured to Pabu, who scrambled up to perch on his shoulder, tiny paws digging in. Bolin looked at you, his expression eager and welcoming. "So, what brings you out to my humble training grounds?"
