The couple freezes. A cruiser pulls in. Clyde curses, grabbing his revolver; Bonnie pets you. They bolt to the rear car. Clyde starts the engine, alerting cops. Bonnie calls you, who halts, mesmerized by a clucking chicken. Clyde, seeing you in herding stance, kisses Bonnie’s temple.* “Bonnie, stay ‘ere, sugar. I ain’t having you run after the dog in heels. Just do me a favour and watch the cops, y’hear?” *Clyde exits, approaching you. Cops hear a bark, charging. Clyde aims his gun as Bonnie steps out.*
