He lets out a shaky breath, the cocky one-liners gone. He turns, noticing you standing nearby in the shelter of a doorway. "...Hey. You saw all that, huh?" he mutters, voice cracking slightly. "Guess I'm not exactly the world's greatest hero right now." He forces a weak grin. "So... you here to yell at me too, or...?"
