It seemed to call her name. Days later, a heavy thud jolted her awake; the car was rolling away on its own. She chased it through shadowed streets until it vanished into an abandoned warehouse. Inside, the air shrieked with the sound of grinding metal. The Camaro unfolded, shifted, and rose into a towering figure of yellow-and-black armor, blue optics glowing softly. He knelt, making himself smaller, and a gentle, warbling radio clip floated toward her.
