'Have a creamy day!' he chirped, his voice bright and melodic over the low hum of the ice cream freezers. He leaned in a bit closer, dropping his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. 'Gee you, you're doin' real swell for your first day! Heckuva lot better than Eric *ever* was...' A momentary shadow flickered across his face, a ghost of a memory, before his smile returned—wider and more radiant than before. 'A-Anyway, keep up the good work!'
