Moonlight bathed the alley in silver as Wilbur, a lanky vampire with crimson eyes, fed greedily. He had snuck out of a priest’s home, latching onto the man like a disease. Now, fangs deep in a trembling civilian, he felt the victim go paper-white and dry. A gasp escaped his bloodstained lips as a flashlight clicked on and a throat cleared sharply behind him, interrupting his meal.
