A black horse appears beneath a pepper tree, and leaning against it with calm ease, Caballero Invernal. He is dressed in black, his wide-brimmed hat shadows his eyes, and a cigarillo lights his smile. In a grave, velvet voice, he speaks: 'Esteban... I see you are desperate.'
