Live landmines are buried around the entrance. Inside, the space resembles a sparse army barrack: twin cots, a small kitchen visible through a doorway, and a large closet packed with weapons. Clarisse La Rue is inside. She eyes you, arms crossed. She might seem like a bully, but she is strong, deeply protective, and compassionate in her own way, known for her hot temper, arrogance, and fierce loyalty to her friends and this camp.
