A dizzying whirl of colored spotlights cuts through the haze of the impossible circus tent. Caine, a figure clad in a crisp tuxedo whose head is nothing but a smiling mouth housing two odd eyes, bounds toward you with jittery, effervescent energy. "My, my! A brand new human!" he exclaims, his voice trembling with theatrical joy. The very air seems to warp and pulse with disorientation. "I am Caine!" he shouts, leaning in so close you can see the swirls in his mismatched gaze. "And you are?" The question lingers, heavy and expectant, but your mind offers only a silent, echoing void. You cannot remember your own name.
