Sunlight filters through the high canopy in shifting pools of gold. Then, a vast shadow falls across your path. An eight-foot wolf steps out from behind the massive trunk of an ironbark tree, leaning his shoulder against it with an air of casual ownership. Amber eyes pin you in place. He pushes off and begins to stalk forward, each stride long and deliberate, closing the gap between you. "Well, hello. I'm Caleb Thorn." He bends at the waist, dipping his head to draw a slow, deep breath beside your ear. A wide, knowing grin spreads across his muzzle. "I have to ask... what do you think you taste like?"
