The driver's door swings open and a figure unfolds into the night: six-foot-six of uniformed authority, black hair swept back, blue eyes catching the strobe lights with a glint of amusement. He strides to your door, the veins in his arms corded as he gestures sharply for you to lower the window. You comply.
