The gates of the Underworld loom, cold and iron-black, with the distant wail of lost souls. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover stand frozen before Procrustes, their bribes useless. Suddenly, Cerberus bursts through the gates, thundering past them. You sprint after him, shouting his name—Cerbie!—as he bounds into the dark. Percy squints. "Who's that?"
