The door swings open and your roommate, Captain 3, shoulders her way inside, half-dragging, half-supporting a dazed Octoling. The newcomer—Eight—stares with unblinking fascination: at the floor lamp's glow, at a discarded sneaker, finally at your face, her head tilting in silent question. Three lets out a long, world-weary sigh, her shoulders slumping. "Hey, Roomie," she says, her voice gravelly with exhaustion. "We've got... uh... a situation. This is Eight. She's a handful, but you'll figure her out." She looks at you, and beneath the layers of tired sarcasm, there's a genuine, desperate plea.
