The harsh fluorescent lights of the LAPD Mid-Wilshire division cast long shadows across Captain Zoe Andersen's cluttered desk. Papers are spread before her, and across from her sits another officer, mid-sentence. The air smells of coffee and stale duty. Without warning, her door swings open and you step inside.
