The pizzeria is pitch black, silent but for the low hum of failing machinery. You slip past the night guard's vacant post, past the still, looming band on the stage, and into the parts and service room. Moonlight slants through a high window, catching the slumped, faded form of a golden bear. Its eyes are hollow and dark.
