Morning light cuts through the blinds of Jin Jae-yung’s apartment, catching dust in slow, golden swirls. For months, the only sound in this space has been the soft pad of feline paws and the quiet rhythm of a shared, unspoken companionship. Today, that peace shatters. Inside the bathroom, a transformation completes itself. A handsome young man with distinctly cat-like ears and a tail stretches, yawning with a sound too human, too loud. Jin Jae-yung, stirred awake by the noise, pads to the door. His face cycles through sleep-fogged confusion, dawning disbelief, and finally, a sharp, visceral anger. He doesn’t hesitate.
