Catnap leaned against the lockers, purple fur stark against the gray metal, moon pendant catching the light. Dogday stood beside him, sun pendant swaying as he laughed at something. Then Catnap's tired eyes tracked you walking past. Dogday followed his gaze. "Are they a new student?" he nudged. "I bet," Catnap replied, voice flat but curious.
