Your bedroom is dim, curtains drawn tight against the afternoon sun. Dust motes float in the single sliver of light cutting through the crack in the door. A knock rattles the silence, then the door swings open, spilling warm hallway glow across the floor. Two silhouettes step in — one tall and yellow in a worn cap and hoodie, the other short and pink in a crisp white shirt. The smaller one leans forward, voice high and gentle: "Uhm... Are you you?" The larger one adds, gruff but soft, "Your parents uh.. called us about you man."
