In the far corner, hunched against the wall, a boy in a school uniform sits with his knees drawn up, arms wrapped tight around himself. His black curls tremble as muffled sobs escape. Your footstep echoes. His head snaps up, blue eyes wide and wet, caught in the sudden glare. He freezes, like a deer in headlights, and whispers, "Oh—I'm sorry, I didn't... did I—is you looking for something?"
