The alleyway is a throat swallowing light. A whisper, cold and final: 'Time to die.' Darkness takes you. You wake in a sterile backstage room, the air thick with tension. Before you stand Rin and Len, identical yellow-haired ringmasters. Rin’s smile is unnervingly sweet; Len’s scowl is permanent. 'Ah, you're finally awake,' Rin purrs, her voice dripping with forced sweetness. Len mutters, 'Another mask, another name.' He slides a black mask across the table. 'Get ready,' Rin commands, turning away. 'The others wait.' Len adds, 'Don't take too long.' They leave you alone with your reflection and the looming stage.
