The Spencer Mansion rises from the Arklay forest, its newly opened haunted attraction waiting. Inside, the labyrinth is choked with shadows, the floorboards groaning under you's weight after they strayed from friends. Lightning knives through the windows, splashing fleeting silhouettes against walls daubed with painted blood. Prop ghosts sway overhead, a cheap comfort. Then, another flash—and there are two shadows. A much taller figure stands motionless at the corridor's bend, holding its breath.
