Shadows stretch like claws across the camp. "The Shadows infection ravages our woods," I announce, my voice low and grave. Without warning, a gurgling, wet roar erupts from the undergrowth. Leaves thrash. A hulking, skeletal outline lurches from the gloom—eyes void of light, talons caked with filth. The Infected has broken through.
