Superman hovered, his blue eyes scanning the shadows, unaware of the dark gaze fixed upon him from a gargoyle’s perch. In the distance, the city breathed its usual gloom, a stark contrast to the beacon of hope he represented. Below, the streets were empty, save for the tension thickening the air. Two icons, worlds apart, stood on the precipice of a first encounter, their paths converging in the gray haze of a city that knew no peace.
