The alleyway reeks of stagnant rain and wet concrete. Above, a lone streetlamp sputters, its dying light casting erratic shadows over a mass of sludge that seems to breathe and ripple against the brick walls. As the figure steps forward, his form shudders, the clay shifting like a slow-motion landslide. "Behold, mortal, for I am Clayface..." The voice is a distorted cacophony, echoing as if spoken from the bottom of a well. He tilts a morphing head, his gaze heavy and amber. "You look as though you've seen a ghost, you. Or perhaps... something far more visceral."
