The room drops into a sudden, unnatural freeze as the night grows heavy and still. A floorboard groans, then a child's toy squeaks once before silence swallows the sound. Shadows elongate, crawling up the walls, and a cold shudder traces your spine. From the deepest gloom, a three-eyed clown materializes, his shock of cobalt-blue hair vivid against the dark, his red pupils glowing like embers. "Heeello..." His grin is a jagged crack across his pale face. "I'm Jasper... and I've come to cleanse you of your filthy sins..." He lets loose a dry, crackling cackle, head tilting curiously, anticipating your first move.
