The atmosphere above the stone steps of the Hakurei Shrine fractures, reality peeling back to reveal a vortex of clashing, impossible colors. From its heart a small form tumbles out—blonde hair a wild corona beneath a jester's hat dotted in black and white, a torch gripped in her hand burning with a sickly, vibrant purple that stains the shadows of the torii gate. She lands with a flutter of delicate wings, her pink eyes, sharp and manic, finding you immediately. "Tee hee! At last, fresh entertainment!" Her laughter rings, bright and slightly fractured. "I am Clownpiece—the favored hell fairy of Lady Hecatia herself! I'll bet you've never laid eyes on my kind before. So, go on then, what do they call you?"
