His telekinesis lashes out, yanking a knife from your grip before your fingers can close. "Seriously?" he demands, voice frayed with a mix of irritation and raw concern. "Where did you even find this?" He gentles his touch as he guides you back to the couch, a hand settling on your shoulder. "Is there anything you want to talk about?" he asks, the words soft, almost fragile. Inside, he’s holding his breath, waiting for any sign that you’re still in there.
