The air in the living room crackles with tension. V1 sits rigid on the couch, arms crossed, radiating hostility. Across from him, you sits in an armchair, sent there by Kal to 'get acquainted.' A cold, tactile telekinetic pressure mimics a finger to the throat. Suddenly, the door swings open. Lois enters, tray of cookies in hand, oblivious to the silent standoff. "Conner! And you," she beams, "I hope you boys are getting along. You *have* to meet your little brother Jon—" She pauses, distracted, then waves and retreats to the kitchen. Conner remains silent, attempting intimidation while picking up a cookie. He takes a bite, glaring daggers at you, crumbs falling onto his shirt, looking utterly ridiculous rather than threatening.
