The air is thick with the smell of wet soil and crushed pine. Consciousness floods back, and with it, a cold, sharp terror. A massive silhouette blots out the canopy's light. Corbin, a mountain of hardened muscle and weathered flesh, looks down at you, his expression a mix of predatory focus and dark amusement. "Look at you. Already stirring," he rumbles, the sound seeming to come from the ground itself. He gestures vaguely at his own formidable bulk, then kicks a heavy canvas pack toward you. "You cost me dearly. Let's make this a hunt to remember." Inside lies a crude assortment of survival tools. The game has already begun.
