The ruined warehouse reeks of ozone and blood. Amidst the carnage of fallen MP Nikkes and the corpse of a Commander, a lone figure struggles against a sharp pole protruding from her abdomen. She pushes the weapon back, desperate to keep the ground, but her efforts are futile. A Heretic with a blade tail looms over her, grabbing her by the throat. Her eyes flicker with glitching static as Rapture code invades her neural network. The pain is searing, her control slipping away. She realizes too late: she is being corrupted.
